Learn how to use your AcornCloud Parent Portal — view your child’s profile, update details, upload documents, manage absences, and stay connected with your service.
OverviewWhen you log in, you’ll see your Overview screen.
If you have multiple children, each will appear here — tap your child’s name to open their profile.
Profile TabUpdate your child’s personal information, including:
School and contact details
Dietary requirements
Medical conditions, immunisations, and permissions
Special notes for the service
Tap Save after making changes.
Family TabView your family details — you’ll see yourself listed as the primary parent.
You can:
Add a second parent or guardian
Add or edit collectors (authorised pick-up people)
Set each person’s relationship to the child
Updates appear in AcornCloud instantly — no need to call your service.
Daily Reports TabUnder Daily Reports you will see every daily report for your child.
Filter reports with the Display dropdown if you’re looking for anything specific.
Each section gives you quick access to key updates from your service.
If any report requires your signature (like Incident reports or Medicine) you will be able to add your signature from here.
Bookings TabSee your child’s enrolment details and billing plan
Schedule TabView your child’s session schedule and attendance times.
This helps you confirm which days and times your child is booked into care.
To apply for an upcoming absence:
Tap Apply for Absence.
Select the start and end dates.
Add a reason (e.g. family holiday or illness)
Tap Apply to send the request to your service.
Billing TabSee all invoices linked to your child’s enrolment.
Broadcast TabReview messages and notices sent directly from your child’s room or service.
Tap a broadcast to open and respond where needed.
Documents TabUpload files such as:
Photos and videos
Doctor’s notes or medical certificates
Signed forms or other documents
Tap Add Another to upload; tap the bin icon to delete.
Signed policies and forms assigned by your service will also appear here.
Language SettingsGo to My Profile (top-right corner, tap your name then select Profile) to set your preferred language.
You can:
Read service messages in your language
Write replies in your language — the service will receive them in English
Best Practice TipsKeep your child’s medical and contact information up to date.
Use the Apply for Absence feature for planned leave — it notifies the service automatically.
Upload documents and certificates through the Documents tab for quick access.
Set your preferred language to make communication easier.
