Learn how to add or manage collectors — the trusted people you authorise to pick up your child. Updates appear instantly in your service’s AcornCloud system, so you don’t need to call or message to confirm changes.
Select Your ChildFrom the Overview screen, tap your child’s name to open their profile.
Open the Family TabAt the top of your child’s profile, tap the Family tab.
Here you’ll see all parents, guardians, and collectors currently linked to your child.
Add a New CollectorTap Add Another to add someone new.
Fill in their name, relationship to the child, and contact information.
Tap Assign Collector to save.
Manage Existing CollectorsEach collector in the list has a toggle on the right-hand side.
Use this toggle to archive a collector if they’re no longer authorised.
Archived collectors stay in your records but are marked as inactive.
Best Practice TipsOnly assign collectors who you trust to pick up your child.
Update or archive collectors promptly if permissions change.
